Funding Availability for the Lead-Based Paint Hazard Control Grant Program

Program Overview

    Purpose of the Program. The purpose of the Lead-Based Paint Hazard
Control Grant Program is to assist States, Indian Tribes and local
governments in undertaking comprehensive programs to identify and
control lead-based paint hazards in eligible privately-owned housing
for rental or owner-occupants in partnership with community-based organizations.

Available Funds. Approximately $56 million. Eligible Applicants. States, Indian Tribes or local governments.

Outreach Partnership Centers Program
Program Overview

    Purpose of the Program. To provide funds to community colleges, four-year colleges, and universities to establish and operate Community Outreach Partnership Centers (COPCs) to address the problems of urban areas.

Available Funds. Approximately $7.5 million. Eligible Applicants.
